Our Vision Statement

International Health Care Providers is a premier, integrated healthcare facilitator that strives to provide immediate healthcare solutions for all Canadians.  IHP is committed to be recognized for its superior services and delivering outstanding value to its clientele.

Medical travel within Canada is a very real and growing business.  After spending several years researching the market and building strong relationships, IHP spearheaded this movement in Canada in 2005.  Today, IHP continues to send a growing number of patients to leading US healthcare facilities for care, while remaining committed to supporting Canadian health care providers through direct referrals to their practices for pre and post procedure care.  Our partnerships are unique to our patient-centered focus.  With our team approach, we facilitate the patient every step along the way, both in our network of selected Canadian physicians, chiropractors, rehabilitation centers and physiotherapists and our highly specialized US medical provider partners.  All of our providers are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to our IHP family.

IHP has been featured in articles and documentaries in newspapers, magazines, television, radio.  Founder, Kelly Melocheis a recognized expert on the Canadian medical travel market.  Kelly has spoken both on the international circuit and within Canada about the growth of medical travel and the value of incorporating medical travel as a value added option within benefit plans.  IHP also consults nationally on the creation and implementation of successful international patient programs.

We understand that your health and the health of those you care for are your highest priority.  At IHP, we work with you to navigate the “system” to ensure you have someone fighting on your behalf.

1. Personalized service – we treat you like family

Between IHP and our partners, we have dedicated staff within our walls that cater specifically to the needs of our clients.  When our clients enter the hospital, they are greeted personally by someone assigned to escort them; the client’s car is valet parked (free of charge) and, of course, hospital fees are discounted on behalf of our clients / their patients
3. Our clients get “front of the line” preferential service from all of our partners
4. Appointments for diagnostic testing are provided at the convenience of the client (same day is possible) where clients are given their films and a disk of their results upon completion of testing.  Interpretations are available the same day or next day
5. Transportation, after-care (rehab etc.), payment arrangements are all facilitated by IHP
6. IHP attends workshops, meetings and seminars not only to keep abreast of client / patient services, but IHP also attends educational seminars regarding the latest technology and treatments
7. IHP has an agreement with Medicard to offer patient financing options that are customized to fit their own personal needs
